Private Training Detailed
attention to the dog's and dog parent's needs in a one-on-one setting. Designed to accommodate just about any schedule, private
training is ideal for working on problem behaviors such as housebreaking, chewing, shyness, aggression, etc. Suitable for
any level from beginner to advanced, private training is a custom-made approach to teaching you how to train and handle your
own dog.
Group Classes A wonderful way to socialize your dog, as well as fine-tune your
skills as a dog/handler team around distractions. Our group sessions are held indoors on week nights as well as on the weekends.
Classes may include as few as four and as many as seven participants -- depending on the size and temperament of dogs.
Boarding for Training Your
dog is trained and socialized intensely for an extended period of time while living full time with the trainer. IMPORTANT:
This program must always include follow-up private lessons and group classes. Your skill as a handler is essential for your
dog's success in training!
Puppy Training and Socialization Whenever possible, we encourage
dog parents to begin training as early as possible to fully take advantage of the imprint stage of your new puppy's development.
Initially, puppies are trained one-on-one, in short sessions with frequent breaks. Most of the time, they just forget that
they are being trained and are simply having fun! As the young dog grows older, the training tasks become more complex and
eventually progress into basic obedience.
Play Groups Offered periodically exclusively for our students. A wonderful
opportunity for dogs of all ages to socialize outside class. Dogs are grouped by size and temperment. Sit, stay, take lots
of pictures!
Boarding Boarding is offered on a very limited basis exclusively for our current
students and former graduates. While you are away, your dog stays with his/her trainer in a cozy in-home environment. Dogs
come home calmer, better behaved...and very tired from playing with fellow canines. Peace of mind for you and tons of fun
for your dog!
Foster Care Each one of our foster dogs has a story. Sometimes the story
is not a very happy one but we are hopeful to find a happy ending! All of our fosters have already had some training and have
been checked out by the vet and spayed/neutered. For all of our current and former clients who adopt a Paw Prints Foster Dog, obedience training is included free of charge!
